O Lord, how many rise against me!
Many say, "There is no help for you in God."

But You, O Lord, are my shield,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

I cry out to You, O God,
and You answer me from Your holy mountain.

I lie down and sleep in peace,
for You sustain me through the night.

I will not fear, though troubles surround me,
though many may stand against me.

For You, O Lord, are my strength—
You rescue those who call upon You.

Arise, O Lord, and shine Your light upon me!
You are the source of salvation and blessing
for all who trust in You.
