Psalms of David - Modern Translation - Psalm 66

 Shout for joy to God, all the earth!

Sing the glory of His name,
offer Him glorious praise!

Say to God, “How awesome are Your deeds!

Through Your great power,
Your love reaches every heart.”

All the earth bows before You,
singing praises to Your name.

Come and see what God has done,
His works fill the world with wonder.

He turned the sea into dry land,
His people passed through the waters on foot—
there we rejoiced in Him!

By His power He rules forever,
His eyes watch over the nations,
nothing escapes His wisdom.

Let the grateful lift their voices,
let no heart resist His goodness.

You have tested us, O God,
refining us like silver in the fire.

You let us walk through trials,
through burdens and hardships,
yet You brought us into abundance.

I will come into Your house with offerings of thanks,
I will fulfill my promises to You,
for You have heard my prayers,
and Your love has never failed.

Come and hear, all who honor God,
let me tell you what He has done for me.

I cried out to Him with my whole heart,
and He listened to my voice.
If I had turned away from His truth,
He would not have heard me,
but surely God has listened,
attentive to my every prayer.

Praise be to God,
who has never turned His love away from me.
