The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

When troubles rise around me,
they will not shake my heart,
for You, O Lord, are with me.

One thing I ask, one thing I seek—
to dwell in Your presence all my days,
to behold Your beauty,
to rest in the shelter of Your love.

In times of trial, You hide me in safety,
You lift me high upon a rock.

I will sing with joy,
I will make music in praise of You.

Hear me, O Lord, when I call;
be gracious and answer me.

My heart longs for You—
I seek Your presence always.

Though the world may change around me,
I will not be afraid,
for You hold me close.

I trust in Your goodness, O Lord,
and I will see Your love throughout all time.

I wait for You with hope,
I stand strong in faith,
for You are my God.
