O Lord, many turn away from wisdom,
living as if You are not there.

They chase after empty things,
forgetting the beauty of Your ways.

But You, O Lord, look upon the earth
to find those who seek You,
those who walk in truth and love.

Even when the world stumbles,
You are the refuge of the faithful.

You are near to those who call upon You,
and You will restore Your people with joy.

O Lord, let Your salvation shine like the morning sun,
and let all who trust in You rejoice!
