Help us, O Lord, for truth seems hard to find,
and kindness feels distant from many hearts.

People speak with empty words,
but You, O Lord, are faithful forever.

You hear the cries of the weary,
You rise to lift up the poor and the brokenhearted.

Your words, O Lord, are pure and true,
refined like silver in the fire,
flawless and everlasting.

You, O Lord, will keep watch over Your people,
sheltering them in Your love.

Though the world may waver,
Your truth and goodness stand forever.
