The Lord reigns! Let the earth rejoice!
Let the distant shores be glad!

Clouds and deep mystery surround Him,
righteousness and justice 
are the foundation of His throne.

Fire goes before Him,
burning away all that stands against His light.

His lightning flashes across the sky,
the earth sees and trembles.

The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the presence of the One who reigns over all.

The heavens proclaim His righteousness,
and all people see His glory.

Those who worship what is false 
will be put to shame;
for even the so-called gods 
bow before Him.

Zion hears and is filled with joy,
the towns of Judah rejoice,
for You, O Lord, are above all!

You reign over the whole earth;
far above all that is worshiped.

Let those who love the Lord turn from harm,
for He guards the lives of His faithful ones,
delivering them from darkness.

Light dawns for the righteous,
and joy for those with true hearts.

Rejoice in the Lord, you who love Him!
Give thanks to His holy name!
